I really enjoyed this hike. You get both ocean and forest views. If you start at the parking area by the beach, you can take a break at the visitors center half way through before continuing on your journey.

The Marsh portion is serene and beautiful. The path that continues to the beach is riddled with bugs and mosquitos. Bring bug spray!!

Great trail! However dogs are not allowed on this specific trail.

This route leads you down a single path trail through the woods or you can opt for the wider paved bike path that runs parallel to the trail. At the end of this route is Coast Guard Beach with a weathered house and incredible views of the ocean. Keep an eye on the interactive map so you don’t turn the wrong way at intersecting paths.
