The "natural bridge" for which the park is named, according to geologists, is 550 million year old bedrock marble, carved into an arch by the force of glacial melt water over 13,000 years ago; one of the best places in New England to demonstrate the effects of glaciation. Located off Rte 8.

This is amazing. Easy to get to even if the park is closed.

Awesome place to explore! While there is not much hiking, there is a lot of natural beauty, and cool tidbits of info along the paths. There is something for everyone there :)

Loved this park. Awesome park ranger to five a tour for free with some history included. Worth the time to take the tour. Amazing view lf the old quarry, it's truly unbelievable!

Very scenic area and not a long hike to reach. The gorge and natural bridge were amazing to see and just makes you wanna dive on in. (please dont do)

Neat little place! Never been here before, but I plan to bring my boyfriend out to the area to explore trails and parks and this will definitely be on the list.

It's definitely not hiking...more exploring. But my 3 boys (ages 3-8) absolutely loved it!

Great family place. Bring a picnic lunch. Not exactly a hike but a unique place nonetheless. A nice addition to a day trip itinerary.

I loved the interesting rock formations. It's definitely worth a look and won't take long because it's small.

This is a nice little afternoon hike or something for small kids. It isn't hard. There are great views of the river and the greater Berkshires. If the sign still says closed for the season, just park by the gate and walk up the road. The state is really bad at opening it on time.

Not much of a hike but it's kind of interesting in the winter, I've seen it in the fall so it was nice to see it in the snow.

Very short trail or jaunt to the top no matter if you take the paved road or the wooden steps. The marble quarry is cool to see and the carved rock from the water running through cuts back and forth through the small gorge to create the natural bridge.
