The 1,234 ft Summit to Mt. Lincoln includes a tower with panoramic views. The summit can be accessed by a network of trails, some of which are visible on maps. The Metacomet Monadnock trail (white blazes) comes through the summit but is presently being rerouted due to private landowner, so the the M-M blazes can be confusing. (At this time, you can use the indicated trailhead on Amherst Rd., but following the white blazes on the return trip does not lead to the same starting point, requiring some backtracking on the road.

hiked the this trail for the first time. Found it difficult to find the trail head or trail. We walked on a trail with a no trespassing sign for a bit before we picked up the trail with the white blaze. There was a small dirt parking lot across the street. Ok hike, over all a nice day to be outside@

We did the Mt. Lincoln loop in late September. The streams were almost dry. The view from the fire tower that said no trespassing was a spectacular 360 degrees.
