Decent trail for dogs… I have a little one so I had to lift him over some sections, though there are ways to walk around a lot of the more technical rock climbing areas. Overall beautiful and even in the rain was super enjoyable.

A very nice moderate trail, there are points that will challenge you with breaks. It took my about 55 minutes to get to the top where I took a break and coming down was faster for a total of 2 hours hiking. The first half mile is almost entirely up hill but once you get past this the trail levels off a bit. Be prepared to climb up rock walls with small natural steps. This trail would not be good for people with bad knees since there are long, steeper downhill sections with nothing to hold onto. Overall, a great trail with many great views!!

This trail was a lot of fun to hike. There were great views throughout. We did have to climb up some rockfaces, and walk along ledges. Due to these obstacles, I would agree with the rating of "moderate" difficulty. Parking was easy at the trail head, and the path was clearly marked with white blazes all the way.

Amazing views along the ridge with plenty of flat, open slabs of rock to rest and look around. This isn’t the quarry trail, though: you split off from the Quarry trail a couple hundred feet in, then you’re on the M-M trail for the whole hike. We ended up taking the Quarry trail to the Middle Loop trail, then found cut-throughs that got us onto the M-M trail right where the cliffs begin. Great hike anyway!

Ledges and more ledges! Not a trail to be taken by those uncomfortable with heights or during very wet weather! Today was dry and overcast, so the conditions were fine along with the views. Basically all of your elevation occurs in the first half-mile and then you walk the ridge edge to the summit - which is a bit disappointing due to the aging communications buildings. But plenty of ledge areas the whole way to sit and enjoy! Just a note on trail naming - if you walk up to the sign junction about 0.1m in , you’ll find you are at the Quarry Trail and the “New England Trail” (new sign) with NO MENTION of either M-M Trail or Mt. Tom (??). It certainly made me wonder where I was - but no fear, head uphill to the right and you are headed to Mt. Tom.

Beautiful trail, much of it along the ridge with beautiful sweeping views of Easthampton and the valley. Some parts not recommended for people with fear of heights! Though some alternate trails offer alternates to the cliff edge segments.

I had a major itch to hike Mt. Tom Friday afternoon. It was the first 80F/27C with 50% humidity day here in western Massachusetts. My wife and I did the Metacomet-Monadnock (Quarry) Trail. The trail revealed some excellent scenic views and we were able to hike along the cliff edges, which was entertaining. Overall, one of my favorite trails in New England.

Enjoyable hike with fantastic views. Some climbing involved. Not the Quarry Trail, though, according to the Mt. Tom Reservation map. You're on the M&M trail the whole time.

The trail was pretty easy going today with a lot of people out hiking. There were spots of ice but it was easily avoidable. The leaves were covering some of the ice so be careful out. It was very windy along the ridge. The conditions will change due to the snow storm that’s coming in tomorrow.

This thanksgiving morning I’m thankful for the well blazed trails up and over Mount Tom. It was windy but a very nice hike. I hope to explore more trails soon!

Pretty awesome hike, not too difficult. Would be a nice spot to hike up and have lunch. Definitely wish i chose to hike at sunset or sunrise, some unique views of the valley.
