Trail is well marked with blue dots. Varied terrain with lots of ups and downs keeps it interesting. Many sections will be boggy or under water in the spring. The trail continues for another 5 miles past the reservoir if you would like to extend your hike.

The trail is very well marked and there are post markers along the way. Trail is hilly at times, really got my blood flowing. Towards the end of the trail I could see the reservoir but had to cut thru the trees and bushes to actually see it. The trail continues after the reservoir, not sure if where I turned around was where the map shows the turn around point. It was very quiet on the trail during my 5 hours hiking I only saw 5 other people.
