Nice trail with good views. Some trails/paths were not labeled or colored at intersections making it a little confusing. Little traffic and had no need for bug spray.

Loved this trail and reservation. The second viewpoint on the trail isn’t the greatest so if you aren’t up for the steep climb up you aren’t missing much. Will definitely be back here to explore more trails!

I agree this a bit more moderate-to-easy than just straight moderate due to a few steep climbs and descents, but was a great training hike for me with a full pack after hiking Callahan State Park earlier in the day. Lots to explore - would be a great place to take kiddos (maybe not this particular route, though).

Great fun - note significant elevation. I'd call this a moderate hike. Some beautiful vistas.

Did up and down to Nobscot hill this time since I was short on time... really great practice trail. There is a nice view point just before the firetower. I'm becoming a big fan of nobscot reservation...

Decent trails. The Boy Scout buildings sort of threw off the feeling of being in the woods but it’s a nice area.

Fun easy trail clearly marked if you get to the top there’s a tower can’t get inside

First to Review

Definitely one of the better loops at Nobscot, the trails are well maintained and well marked. The loop includes the two best features in the reservation; Tippling Rock and Nobscot Hill. Tippling Rock is an open ledge with views all the way to Boston, Nobscot Hill has no views but adds a bit more challenge to the loop. Definitely bring bug spray if you are going in the near future.
