I took my Missus on a mid-afternoon hike on this crisp, cool afternoon. This trail is quite easy; however, you need to be careful when walking on packed snow and ice. Be cautious should you park within the state park to be on your way out prior to dusk as the gate is locked.
Poorly marked trails but beauty at every turn. We will go back for sure!! The app did not seem to match trails.
Nice trail, seems heavily used by people mountain biking through it. Nice views of the lakes. Sometimes the paths can get a little confusing and not greatly marked.
Nice hike with views of the water. A few relatively steep, short hills, but otherwise mostly flat. Trail is pretty well marked and easy to follow. Goes through some nice forested areas. Biggest caution is tree roots, which are all over the trail and can be slippery in wet weather.
