Laura's Tower Trail is a 1.8 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Stockbridge, Massachusetts that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
So... I broke my Ankle on this trail, but the view was absolutely beautiful, if you have a feeling you should make sure you have hiking poles, get hiking poles. I went in mid December, I haven’t had much experience with snow before this, and going back from the tower in can be a bit slippery and steep. Bring the right gear, and don’t hurt yourself like I did. Luckily I have about a half mile left and there were amazing hikers around that help me get to my car.
After Ice Glen we were ambitious and began Laura at the split. Legs were not looking forward to it but we trudged on. The views were awesome and tower was not that steep. We will do this again with friends. Hike on people!
