Great walk. Well marked and people were respectful and wearing masks. Our two dogs enjoyed it too!

Walking

Well marked, low impact, walkable trail. Plenty of dogs despite signs not allowing them. Couple ponds, but no waterfall to be found this time of year. Very easy to switch trail colors and paths to cut straight back as well. We ran into a few people on horseback, which was an interesting surprise.

The leaves are too much for biking this time of the year.

Sun, Nov 1, 2020 -The trail is great! Extremely well marked wide enough for social distancing Sun, Nov 1, 2920. The trail was great - it’s very well marked. There were a lot of people, but once you traveling to the park far enough, there were fewer people. With the snow, and recent rain, the trail was slippery with wet leaves and some ice but that’s expected.

beautiful hike with well-maintained paths most people wore their masks or moved aside very far into the woods if they were not. it's not too busy you can go a while without seeing anyone I highly recommend it. I would say that this hike is actually quite easy there are some vertical parts but it's not a lot of incline whatsoever. with the snowy conditions It does seem a little slippery so proper footwear is suggested.

Good trails - but some are not well marked. Still always a way to get back to the main trails. Sunrise was gorgeous!

People are NOT leashing their dogs unfortunately. Even when asked to by us, they kept walking on. Of the 7 families with a dog, only 1 was leashed. Aside from that the trails were great. Clearly marked and easy to follow. The view from the peak was amazing and quite clear.

This is a fun trail with wide paths and plenty of forest scenery to forget you're in the Boston metro area. If you have the time, take the path up to Noanet peak or check out nearby Hale Reservation.

Running

Wide, well-maintained trails with lots in the way of sun-dappled ground, wind whispering through the trees and fragrant, wholesome air. All nice stuff. 90% of the trail is flat, and the steeper bits are short and very manageable. Well-marked throughout. The view from the top isn't wild but it's pretty. My major complaints: more easy than moderate for the most part, and it rarely feels like you're really "out in the woods" due to houses, flyover noise, and lots of foot traffic.

Great little hike. Inclines aren’t too bad. Plenty of dogs OFF leash. The snow was still on th trail and lots of ice.
