Lane Conservation Area and Town Forest Loop is a 4.2 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Lunenburg, Massachusetts that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options.

January 17, 2021Wonderful hike. Hiked in mid- winter just after heavy rain and there were several little streams to rock-hop over, which only added to the fun.
January 10, 2021This route goes on great trails through the woods with modest elevation gains and a few babbling brook crossings —twice over Mulpus Brook. The prettiest part in my opinion was the Hickory Woods Ridge Trail on a narrow, high ridge with a winding, small brook below. For the most part, the trails were free of snow and ice except in a few heavily shaded spots. Parking is easy in a large lot right off Holman Street.
