HikingGreat!

I love this trail and visit this at least once in two weeks. Nice walk along the lake, plenty of green space to throw frisbee with friends.

Not a trail but for sure a beautiful walk to start your day or in the evening before going home to relax. Can get buggy in the summer. Easy enough for kids to join in. Dog friendly.

This is a very easy 3.1 mile hike circumnavigating this gorgeous lake in Wakefield. The hike is almost exclusively all sidewalk with a few short stretches that are dirt or grass trails. I would recommend this for all ages..

Nice family friendly walk with many trash cans for dog poop and whatnot. Pretty views of the lake and people enjoying the lake.

This time I went earlier than usual (6pm); the sun was still out and effective my stamina. I chose not to run today. Also soles on my shoes kill. I tried to use shokls cushion but they almost seemed ever worse! K need new sneaks like now!

The lake is pretty but this route is more of a walk around the block.

Flat for whole trail. Easy walking. The lake is nice. Most of the trail is on a Major street so there is constant traffic along side where you are walking.

My favorite for a sunset walk. Gets busy so plan for that ☺️☺️

The Lake Quannapowitt Trail is a very pretty walk regardless of the time of year or day. At least half of the trail is right on the water. I enjoyed seeing different views of the lake and I would walk the trail again or run it.

Walked around the lake several times. Nice walk. Walk around in a clockwise direction in the afternoon to avoid sun in your face. Go the other way during sunset for a lovely sunset walk.

Walking

You can't get lost on this walk/jog in the town I where I went to high school. Just walk around Lake Quannapowitt. The "busy" aspect comes from the popularity of this route for locals getting their daily exercise. The "Moderate" assumes you join the joggers. Otherwise it's fairly easy. The lake is in predominantly residential surroundings, with a few commercial properties.
