Love this walk. The beach is amazing and there is lots to see. Watch out for poison ivy close to the trail.

I recommend doing this trail at low tide so you can complete the far left loop. Also be prepared to walk on a lot of sand. Otherwise a very nice trail

Lovely fall hike! We hiked at high tide so the the salt marsh boardwalk was a few inches under water. You can bring your dogs after October 1! Nice variety of environments

Would hike here again. Appreciated other reviews about checking tides. We parked at Drummer Boy park and walked up the sidewalk a couple of tenths and then followed sign for Wing Island nailed on a tree. It is just before the Nature museum.

This is one of my favorites! It's a great walk to do with young children; however, not a stroller friendly walk so if you have really young children make sure you have your baby carrier on. We happened to have done the walk on an overcast, foggy day and it was just as enjoyable!

This was a pleasant walk through woods, marshes, and beach. We walked for about an hour. We arrive two hours after low tide but still had to take off our shoes and socks to cross a marshy area to get from the beach to the wooden stairs to continue on the path.

A lovely ramble alongside the salt flats! We saw no one during our walk but did manage to see beautiful trees, flowers, and wildlife. Had a nice sit on one of the many benches too. Cool muck to smell.

Level trail through wooded area, then on a boardwalk over the marsh. This must be done on low tide, flooded at high tide. After reaching the island , walk continues along beach. Soft sand walking, then back across island and boardwalk. Well maintained by museum.
