This app has you park at Veterans Park off W Main St . This makes you pass over a field and a muddy path . I found a better starting point off Mill St . This starts you right on the reservoir . Nice place to see swans and pretty flowers . A nice place for families and beginners. Overall a nice way to spend some time

This was a super fun family hike. Great birding! We saw chickadee, song sparrow, downy woodpecker, pileated woodpecker, redwing blackbird, cedar waxwing, scarlet tanager, oriole, mallard, swan, and heard so many warblers!

Nice water views. Saw a pair of swans and a few geese, as well as a beaver dam. Well marked trails.

We had 1 inch rain yesterday and sleet and rain today so you need waterproof boots. The walkway is washed out at the river. My dog and I got a bit wet but not over the boots. Nice walk. Clean, roots to walk over, nice view of the reservoir, easy walk. Just keep on walkin.

Beautiful land, rarely buggy except in the swampy sections near the source of the Assabet River. Great for an easy walk or walking your dog!
