SnowshoeingGreat!Snow

Fun place to go snowshoeing. Just need to be careful crossing the street if you also want to do Birchwold Farm.

It is a steep walk up to the lookout, but the sunset views are worth it!

Stopped quick to catch a little sunset as I was passing. I will definitely be back. It’s beautiful and there are sweet little hidden man-made and natural treats along the paths.

Bird watching

It’s a very short walk but there are a few additional trails off the main one if you want to go further. We enjoyed the view from the top of Joe’s rock. The climb to the top of the rock isn’t nearly as steep if you go right at the fork in the path. The tree roots form some really cool steps. We saw a Common Yellowthroat. I had to look it up as we had never seen one before. There were also several Baltimore Orioles, a ribbon snake and a large black snake swimming. There are several benches and the birds don’t seem to mind company. I will definitely go back in the fall to see the foliage from the top of the rock.

Short quick hike but there is a nice parking lot. Well maintained. Great viewing areas. Place for picnic. There is a nice geocache near the top. Great view on top.

This is a well maintained trail. More of a walk through the woods rather than an all out hike. It took us only 30 minutes to walk around.

This is not a lengthy trail but makes a perfect hike with kids or if you are short on time. Rocky with a great incline that gets the heart rate up. Absolutely beautiful views from the top!

Parts were overgrown so it's quite confusing if it's part of the loop to get back or not. I wound up just turning around the way I came up. VERY buggy.
