Nice for a quick mostly level walk outside. You can double the length by continuing on the alternate trail. Great for young kids too

A very pleasant walk through woods, near marshes, and the Bass River (which looks like a lake). We saw several folks with their dogs and the dogs happily went for a dip in the river which was fun to see. Lots of nice views for photos.

Nice spot. It's actually about a quarter mile down a dusty power line path to get to the trail head. There is a defunct railroad line running parallel to the power lines so I walked along those instead. The trail head gives you two options; I chose the one to the left. I didn't have time to check out the one to the right but I have to believe it is shorter and less scenic. The trail to the left takes you quickly through the woods then out to views of Bass River and the bridge. As you bend back into the woods you'll see lush marsh grass in season. The rivers winds around to a marshy area with plenty of birds to see and hear. The When you get back to the par
