We ended up on ice Glen after hiking up to Laura's Tower. Such a good hike.

Hard to follow trail as markers just stopped. The map showed us off trail although most people used the route we used. The trail just ends at a neighborhood but the views along the trail are worth it. Rocks get slippery so watch out.

Great hike, especially with adventure seeking kids. Climb the rocks and explore the small caves and tunnels. Nature at its best.

Hiked the Laura's Tower trail and the Ice Glen trial including the loop down the shared driveway to the road. Laura's Tower trail is a moderate climb in a well maintained trail with plenty of switchbacks to make it less steep. The Ice Glen trail is well maintained, no very steep, but plenty of rocks to climb over.

Nice walk through the woods. Caves with ice and snow were fun on a day that was seventy degrees. Hike can be combined with Laura’s Tower. Lots of bird activity along the trail.

Excellent scenery in this short cool walk through the rocky outcrops and tall pine and hemlock trees. Just to clarify something a couple other reviewers wrote, this is in fact a loop. When you get to the end at the private property you walk down the shared driveway to Ice Glen Road. This takes you back to Route 7 and then back to the parking area on Park Street where you began.

We took the time to wander over to Ice Glen while hiking up to Laura's Tower. It was quick, buggy, and somewhat anti-climactic, although we did think it was cool (pun intended!) to see ice in late May.

A unique hike, Ice Glen is essentially a boulder field, lots of interesting topography.

Beautiful! great hike up to the tower. Great bridge over the little river. Just lovely. Thanks to all who maintain the trail!

I took my 4 and 6 year old to Laura's Tower and the Ice Glen and they HAD A BLAST! It was definitely at the upper level of their ability (the vertical assent to the tower and the scramble to the glen took a lot out of them) but they said it was the best hike of their time in the Berkshires.

Magical trail with nice light rock scramble towards the end. Short, and ends a bit abruptly in someone's backyard.

This is a beautiful rather magical trail through the woods and rock formations.

Map is incorrect- you cannot go in a loop- runs into private property off Ice Glen Rd

I took my grandson here today. We both loved it. We enjoyed the rock scrambles, the icy air coming from the caves on this 90 degree day, and all the natural treasures we found along the way including coral mushrooms, a tree frog, and an elderberry borer beetle while other hikers were geocaching.

Beautiful! Keep an eye out for the blue spots for markers. Wonderful scramble. Moderate because of all the rocks but not too hard just lots of scrambling. Fun with three teens and a 40-ish person :) Bonus - tons of extra frogs just around the railroad tracks for fun. :)

Ice Glen is a good hike for sure footed kids. Not a good hike if you're carrying kids. This is one of the only hikes our kids will gladly accompany us on.

I like the Ice Glen trail, but it's a little tough on our dog. We really like Laura's Tower which is accessible from the same parking lot. Today we kept going out past the tower, follow the yellow blazes, after you pass through a series of ravines you settle into a nice flat trail that takes you out to Bear Town State park, we walked out and back in about 2.5 hours. Today's weather was cool and you should get an early start, when it's hot/muggy the delta wings and mosquitos can be annoying.

This is a family favorite. Lots of fun scrambling but fairly short. Gorgeous, too.
