It was raining pretty bad, but it was a great easy hike.

Only went up a mile because the trail was so wet, but wasn’t hard. Great views!

This a great hike! It’s fairly easy, but still interesting. Lovely views of Mt. Greylock and the surrounding area. I highly recommend this trail.

If you had to choose one hike out of many in the Berkshires, this is the one, particularly beautiful/scenic/interesting in the fall.

Decided a few months ago to get back to hiking. Used to hike a lot in my youth but somewhere along the line I just stopped. Found this app and started searching for trails. Having gone to college in this area, I knew there were trails but never knew about the Hoosac Range Trail so figured I'd check it out. At almost 6 miles round trip, give yourself some time to do the out and back. I do agree with its moderate rating so if you haven't done much in the way of exercising in recent memory, find a trail rated as easy and get some practice before attempting this one.

Great trail year round. Among the best in the Berkshires.

Great views, primarily to the west and of Greylock but a few spots to the east, too. Blazes were easy to follow in deep snow. Gets quite windy.

A real nice hike that has views along the entire trail. It takes about 2 and half to three hours to complete. Very well marked and excellent footing along the way.

Moderate/easy hike with multiple areas to overlook the Berkshire scenery. View at the top of "Spruce Hill" is outstanding. If you're in North Adams and looking for a quicker and easier hike than Mt Greylock, this is a good one to consider.

A perfect hike; not too hard and not too easy. The view at the top was really pretty.
We also did the part marked "Vista" but there wasn't much of a view.

Love this hike! A beautiful meandering trail ... from the parking lot to the Vista and back (5.5 miles) took us 2 hours and 10 minutes ... I highly recommend this trail.

This hike isn't very steep. It was so peaceful. Some of the scenic spots looked out over North Adams. There is one vista about 0.7 miles from the end of the trail. It is amazing. There was no road noise. No sign of humans anywhere. I couldn't see towns, towers, ski trails, or anything like that. It was beautiful and well worth being frozen from a freak May snow flurry. (yeah snow and ice in May because winter is never going to go away)

This is a great family hike! Lots of nice views along the way. Not too steep, so it was very doable for our 9 year old without complaint.

Amazing conditions to snowshoe. 22" of snow fell earlier this week and today was 43 degrees with clear skies. We took the Busby Trail to the Spruce Hill summit. Lot's of fun and can't wait to go back and try other snowshoe trails.
