Take a stroll along this beautiful beach and then out to an island via a land bridge at low tide. This is one of those cool beaches in New England that opens up a land bridge to an island you can walk out to. Parking is expensive so park in town on 127 and walk with a backpack to the beach to save the $25 daily fee on busy summer weekends.

To get to Milk island wait until the tide is out, you can walk the land bridge and see Gloucester from the ocean without having to take a boat
