Pretty easy trail, maybe I did the wrong one? It was paved 80% of the time. There was a large fallen tree my dog and I were able to climb over. Otherwise just a small stent of ice

This trail is perfect for a short hike after work or to start your busy day. Most of the snow and ice has melted but there were some tricky areas in which I wish I had some ice crampons. Easy to work around those slick areas and form your own path in the crunchy snow. Beautiful views from the top and it even began to snow. Magical!

we got to the larger vista and it sat atop for a while. it was already almost 5, and gates close at 6p, so we went back down to car to find the other trail head and did the trail to Mt Tom Summit from the other side. this trail was rocky, steep and slippery with leaves. not only did I fall, but the 3 folks behind us fell/slid, and 2 ahead of us also slid down the steep descend. about 15 folks atop this vista when we got there, with another 20 coming up as we took in the views. this trail also is NET so pay attention to trail markers.

the trails have maps under the posts to show "you are here". the 1st 1/4 was walking on a chopped paved road to the sign for the peak. I came on a weekend, so there was a ton of folks everywhere. once on Goat peak trail, it has some incline going up on dirt and rock path. once to the top, the vista had 2 benches & a couple areas to sit on the rocks to enjoy the view. However, it was crowded and most folks abided by the social distancing and masks. the fire tower, had a line, which we waited about 20 min to get up to the top. the views here were breathtakingly amazing! sadly, I didnt get to spend much time up here as the line below had over 20 people waiting! took white trail down, which put us further away from our car. so we did Bray tower. someone vomited atop, so that ruined that. so, then we decided to further the hike on Mt Tom summit trail. many trails here to enjoy!

Good loop! Great for an afternoon hike. Not too difficult, with well-maintained & well-marked trails throughout.

The area is beautiful and the trails are unlimited. Unfortunately today was really buggy! The mosquitos were relentless. It cut our day short.

Some of the views on this hike were absolutely breathtaking, overlooking the valley from high above. I highly urge you to continue past the peak to the end of the trails where you can find the ruins of an old hotel called the Eyrie House. There, an accessible (though fenced off) watchtower offers a really good view. The watchtower behind Goat Peak's viewpoint is even better though, so at least make sure to find that.

I actually didn’t do this exact trail because I didn’t realize it was 10$ to get into the park and I didn’t have cash on me so I ended up walking up the road and parking on the side. But I went up to goats peak and it was definitely beautiful and worth it. Also a good amount of shade along the way up so that was nice too. Very buggy though wear bug spray!!!
