Get off the main multi use trails and you have a nicer and more varied hike. Not much to see, although the water was nice. A bit wet 2 days after a pretty good rain. Very relaxing day
This was my first time on this trail and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There are loads of side trails off the main. I will definitely return and can't wait to see it in winter.
Good time of the year to go, no bugs and almost no water (one 10' section). Overall though, its a bit disappointing. Starts out really nice, but there's very little variation, and I was kinda bored after a while. Skipped some of the far side, I had had enough; still got in about 6.2 miles though. No wildlife seen, not even a chipmunk (!).
