Ford's Folly Trail is a 1.2 mile loop trail located near Sudbury, Massachusetts that features a great forest setting. The trail is good for all skill levels and is primarily used for hiking, walking, running, and nature trips.
If you do not know the area pay attention easy to get lost with all the side trails. The different views were beautiful. Bring or wear bug repellent because it is super buggy! Had fun hiking this though absolutely great!!
The first half of the trail is very narrow and lush with tons of poison ivy along the edges. It’s also between the close fences as you cross over the dam.
Once we found it, it was great. Problem was, we parked our car and went up the hill in front of us, quickly realizing that we were off trail. Turned around went back down the hill across the street and began the trail from there. Really cool finding the dam that my husband remembered from his childhood.
