Needs major clean up and blockage to motorized vehicles. Fence on one side 3/4 of trail. Best part along river toward waterfall near end. Go during week to avoid Industrial Park noise.

DONT DO IT! It’s not really a safe trail right now. My boyfriend and dog and I️ went there Sunday afternoon. First of all the trailhead is all overgrown, yet there was a parking lot and signs with arrows indicating a “path.” As we got about a mile or so in, we saw signs saying Keep Out and no trespassing with imprisonment as the consequence. We went a bit further, and we ran into a Hanover cop who stated the trail is currently off limits due to excavations for old weapons used in Vietnam and WWII. We were advised to back track and when doing so we got lost and ended up leaving the trail and walking the streets of Hanover, which don’t have sidewalks, debating to get an uber to get back to the car.... we walked yet the whole experience took2 hours.

This trail would be pretty nice if it wasn't so overgrown. There are barbed wire fences falling over, parts that are completely overgrown, sad.

Started from the trailhead. Nice and clear for the first 200 feet before it becomes very overgrown. At some points you just have to guess where the trail goes. The bridge that crosses Factory Pond is out until further notice due to the area being a dig site for soil remediation. The area is marked No Trespassing and they do have trail cameras set up. I learned the hard way. Police do patrol the dig site as I also learned the hard way. If the trails were more maintained and marked this would be absolutely awesome.

Hiked this with the kids in the winter. Overgrowth not a prob in winter but would be in spring, summer and fall.

so i love this trail...except for the fact that the last 2 times i've been the maintenance is nonexistent; completely overgrown. if i had known i would've brought some clippers or something...it's hard to run because i have to dodge branches.

i recommend going in early spring to avoid the over grown summer leaves and stuff

A good walk for anyone. Pretty trees nice variety. We liked the ferns. The pond was beautiful but some trash kind of spoiled it a little. Encountered a friendly Doberman.
A fine short walk. There's not really a waterfall though.
