Nice walk. Views of Concord river and Walden Pond. Minimal elevation change.
This was a nice trail along the river. We are not fans of an out and back trail, so we went out on the marked path and then wandered back along other trails. This added about a half mile to the hike, but we found it easy and enjoyable. This path had a number of people on it on a nice Sunday afternoon in the fall.
Lots of fallen trees blocking parts of the paths, bike riders might not like that. Fine for hiking.
This was a lovely walk! A few uphills but nothing crazy. Beautiful views. We did get off the trail a bit towards the end but were able to get back on it easily enough. Park on the left basically as soon as you turn off rt 2.
ABSOLUTELY FAVORITE TRAIL! Such a beautiful, well maintained set of trails!
