You'll follow this trail over a series of rocky outcrops with views towards Boston in the distance.

Take Exit 33 off of I-93 and head east on Elm Street to a roundabout where you will continue North on Woodland Road. A short distance from the roundabout look for a small parking area on the left. You may need to drive a bit farther north to find a place to turn around and head back south on Woodland to park. There are no fees to park here.
The trail is challenging as it follows the Rock circuit trail, the rest of it was pretty flat and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Make sure to carry enough water and snacks that you can enjoy while admiring the views atop the rocks
Overall for a combination of trail running and hiking, which some decent boulder scrambling. Per usual for the fells, poorly marked and confusing; don’t put your phone map away if you want to stay on-trail. Quite overgrown in many spots.
Great moderate trail with a lot of ups and downs. Great view of Boston from Pinnacle Rock. Better off parking at the skating rink because the trailhead is directly across from there.
Marking on the trail could be better and a lot of gps dead spots good for a quick 1 hour jog though
Trail varies from fire roads West of Fellsway E, to some moderate rock scrambles in the Eastern side with some good views on that side. Part of the trail runs close to the old hospital and construction is currently going on over there. The noise from that took a lot away from an otherwise nice hike.
