Love the beach and hiking/walking in the dunes is definitely a work out. As you try to scale the dunes, your feet sink into the sand which makes you exert more effort than expected. Bring water as it can get pretty hot on sunny day. End via a shaded wooded grove which leads to beach parking. Concession. Restrooms at beach. Tons of parking. Admission $.

This trail does NOT allow dogs. You can take a beautiful walk on the beach but the dogs cannot go on the dunes so all hiking trails at cranes are only for people as they cross over dunes. Also it’s still a $20 entry fee to get on beach even during off season.... go to wingersheak instead just as nice and no cost to park... Beautiful though on the beach

Beautiful place - my favorite in MA. Beautiful dunes - white sand, tall grass, cranberries in fall, ocean on horizon. Probably the only place left where dogs are not allowed, thankfully, so no barking, no stepping on poop, no jumping on me with dirty paws. Place is expensive though...

Didn't go the entire trail, but I've been going to Crane's Beach since I was a toddler. Always enjoyed splashing in the water and digging my toes in the sand!

Scenery was okay . Dogs are not allowed nd they are real jerks about it. My dog is a service animal and was permitted after heavy questioning. I was aloud on a very small stretch of Beach. They were more than happy to take $15 from me to let me in for 20 minutes. Won't be going back.

Great small loop for a winter coastal hike!

This trail I felt was difficult. It was all sand and has a couple very steep hills that were sand. The sand is beautiful.. white and fluffy but not fun to walk in! Nice view though.

Love walking through the dunes. Did the loop at sunset, so pretty! Relatively easy, but walking on/sinking into the sand adds to the difficulty a bit.
