wonderful trail...one of my favorite hikes with aqua water and endless beachy nooks to take a dip in. look forward to returning every time we come to the Cape!

This was one of the best hikes I have ever done. Bring a towel and wear your bikini so you can take a dip. Some of the trail was submerged but don’t let that deter you bc there were alternative routes (or just tough it out and walk through the shallows). This was one of the highlights of my summer!

We hiked the loop around the pond with our 4 and 1 year old kids. Relatively well marked, and lots off short off shoots that you can explore if you have time. Beautiful and quiet beaches along the way, with crystal clear water. Definitely bring your bathing suits, as you'll want to jump in.

Probably the best trail at Nickerson. The pond itself is beautiful and the clear water is reminiscent of a tropical ocean. There are many great spots to take in the view. The trail can be tight at times and the bushes could use a trim in spots. The trail shown on the map goes around the top of Grassy Knob but there is a very short side trail that goes over it, which I would recommend. It's the highest point in the area and has great views. For the most part the trail is empty, you may see a few kayakers on the water. You are also far from roads so this is a great hike for those who love being alone in nature.

Nice, quiet trail in the middle of Nickerson State Park in Brewster, MA. It is well-marked and has lots of great scenery throughout the nearly 3 miles of trail. Several opportunities to jump in the water for a private swim or to have a picnic lunch. Be prepared to walk in some sand, as many places on the trail require traversing a sandy beach. It's late August so we are well into prime growing season and in some places the trail was slightly overgrown, but generally it was extremely well-maintained. A quiet oasis in the middle of busy Cape Cod.

Beautiful views and wildlife . Lots of fish, birds, frogs and turtles. Easy hike but also very enjoyable. Our gps took us the dirt road route which states " not accessible to park" but it is , only attempt with 4x4. Large parking lot

Nice trail. Many sandy beaches along the trail, so small parts of the trail on the sand. From other side, you can swim in the middle of the trail.

We have hiked this trail for years, year round, all weather. It goes around the pond, some up and down, on a path that is not well maintained. Through some low brush. Comes upon some beaches, on the pond. In season many campers are using these also fisherman and boaters. Moderate trail for hikers. Beautiful scenery. Nice workout. Be aware this is a wood tick area, take precautions.

Very good in the off season. Fewer people and more dog friendly.
