Bumpy in a fun way. A bit disorienting at times. It’s blocked in Sudbury.

Great trail from Waltham to Wayland. Sketchy bridge crossing at the start, then paved and gravel into Wayland. A bit after Wayland center, the trail becomes just overgrown train tracks and nearly impassable. We stopped at that point and do not know whether it gets good again further west.

Not good for biking. Trail ends in Sudbury and does not continue - - I checked.

Great trail for running, biking, walking your dog or any kind of experience. I went here for a bike ride and loved it. The trail is very clean and the soil is hard pack, making it a great bike trail. The trail goes along the railroad tracks the whole way making it easy to follow. There are some great side trails to explore when you cross Hopbrook Marsh Conservation. If you have time those are definitely worth checking out. Just a warning, right before you cross Union Avenue, the trail becomes too overgrown to continue and terminates long before the map says it does. There is still many miles of trail available before that so that shouldn't discourage you. I will definitely be returning to this trail again and I would definitely recommend it.
