Start at spacious parking area then proceed south to Echo Pond Trail and the wonderful beaver inhabited Echo Lake. Continue on East-West Trail to Cheney then down to the Wilson Swamp Trail. The Swamp Trail is about 25' above the actual swamp and is typically dry and well maintained. Continue to right and up hill to the Cedar Trail loop. The trail goes thru a cool little gorge on the west side of the knoll. Finish up by descending to Chickering Lake and the parking lot! A wonderful property!

A nice trek for sure. It's always cool to see what the beaver's are up to on Echo Lake. They have downed about 50 trees to make their home, amazing. I took a little detour up Cedar Hill Knoll to check out the gorge. I love that area. Got ambushed by a little golden retriever...so cute!
