Enjoyed this serene wildlife sanctuary! Only did a little bit of walking but it’s wonderful.

WalkingGreat!

So beautiful, peaceful walk. There is a meadow, a lovely pond and 2 loops through woods, one of them with old and very tall evergreen tree. Most of the walk is shaded.

It was beautiful! So many flowers, birds, and chipmunks! Only thing to note is there are very many bees (because of the flowers) and towards the end it is almost too thick to get through. Other that it was very enjoyable!

Great enjoyable nature trail hiking. Easy and a nice break from inclined hiking. These kinds of hikes are still great! Nice pond and wildlife, with lovely woods.

Very nice set of flat trails. Definitely what you’d expect from meadow/bog/pond- so expect bugs if going in mid summer. I went early in the morning in July and the bugs weren’t horrendous but a hat would have been a nice addition. The sounds of birds and bullfrogs were deafening, it was delightful. There’s plenty of shade and woody trail area as well. The trail around the center area of the big is wet and narrow so wear hose-offable shoes in the wet season. All around very pleasant, non—arduous walk super close to town for those looking for a quick escape from city life or with only a few minutes to give to a nature jaunt. FYI No dogs allowed (only drawback- its a mass Audubon site, sorry pups).

The sign there says no running, but it was a pretty little jog, albeit flat.
