Trail was dry, hardly any ice. It was a nice, very easy walk. In no world should this be considered moderate. We took the loop counterclockwise, saw a few other people, all were walking clockwise. I suppose clockwise the initial climb could be tiring but it's quick. Didn't feel steep going down.
slippery... thin sheet of ice on rocks and leaves. recommend poles and microspikes.
It was quick hike on route to Rhode Island!! Super fun and easy, but really beautiful!
Snow cleats and/or poles recommended in the snow! Gorgeous hike. Will get your blood flowing.
Very nice. A little slippery because of the leaves and rain but a nice walk with the dog, a sweet pond (that he fell in) and a pretty vista.
Moderate up and down under canopy with a beautiful view and a pond. Certainly checks all the boxes for a wonderful hike!
A great slow uphill hike to a beautiful vista that I happened to use to propose to my girlfriend!
Peaceful climb and descent. A hike through the woods with a small vista.
I love that it's a loop that goes up to the vista and then down to the pond. The fall leaves were gorgeous. Glad I came this time of year. Great markers on the trail. Parking lot is quite small but a few people were parked on the roadside, and that seemed fine. Highly recommended!
Great trail. We did the Burbank loop, stopped for lunch at Olivia’s Overlook, and then also did the Charcoal trail. Very simple trails to follow. Was easy 85% of the time. The other 15% got the legs burning and heart pumping but nothing challenging at all. No real summits, but beautiful vistas. Was practically empty when we got there at 7:30am. Was chaos at Olivia’s Overlook by noon.
My husband and I were fortunate enough to visit during fall foliage season and we were amazed by the beauty we saw all along this trail. There’s a pond, an overlook, and a vista. So much wildlife to see. We got lucky and heard and saw a barred owl and she was breathtaking. Not far from the vista there’s an old homestead thats mostly just moss covered rocks, but still really cool to check out.
Nice wooded trail. Some elevation but not much. One nice viewpoint.
Fun hike with my wife and 2 kids (ages 3 & 7) fairly easy hike , rocky in some spots but overall pretty easy , trails where moderately busy for Labor Day weekend but there was plenty of parking
