Too many humans. Similar to Olivia's Overlook, pretty forest and nice winter trail for locals but not worth being in a crate for for a long distance drive just to hike. My mom said the best view is from the parking lot.

HikingGreat!

Trail was dry, hardly any ice. It was a nice, very easy walk. In no world should this be considered moderate. We took the loop counterclockwise, saw a few other people, all were walking clockwise. I suppose clockwise the initial climb could be tiring but it's quick. Didn't feel steep going down.

It’s a lovely easy trail that is nice at all times of year, with a pond, old evergreen woods, some nice up and downs and the occasional view. A lovely Berkshire walk. Occasionally you’ll be surprised by mountain bikers.

For a gradual incline, take the fork towards Monk's Pond. The vista was beautiful.

Very nice. A little slippery because of the leaves and rain but a nice walk with the dog, a sweet pond (that he fell in) and a pretty vista.

I love that it's a loop that goes up to the vista and then down to the pond. The fall leaves were gorgeous. Glad I came this time of year. Great markers on the trail. Parking lot is quite small but a few people were parked on the roadside, and that seemed fine. Highly recommended!

HikingGreat!

Great trail. We did the Burbank loop, stopped for lunch at Olivia’s Overlook, and then also did the Charcoal trail. Very simple trails to follow. Was easy 85% of the time. The other 15% got the legs burning and heart pumping but nothing challenging at all. No real summits, but beautiful vistas. Was practically empty when we got there at 7:30am. Was chaos at Olivia’s Overlook by noon.

My husband and I were fortunate enough to visit during fall foliage season and we were amazed by the beauty we saw all along this trail. There’s a pond, an overlook, and a vista. So much wildlife to see. We got lucky and heard and saw a barred owl and she was breathtaking. Not far from the vista there’s an old homestead thats mostly just moss covered rocks, but still really cool to check out.
