Well-maintained and quiet during the week. The muddy bits were frozen over and there was one icy spot. The snow was lovely.
Beautiful trails along ponds, marshes, and the Charles River. Some trails with moderate elevation changes leading to nice views.
Very well marked! Blue blazes out, yellow blazes in. Many interconnected closed loops.
Cute walk. Loved the board walk. They are closed Mondays and holidays. You also gotta make a reservation and there’s a fee through the website
1st visit. Glacial Loop followed by Orchard Trail to Marsh Pond was great. Will be back.
The trails are gorgeous in the fall. There are several access points to get down to the Charles, and the foliage on the river was spectacular this time of year. It's a wide, flat, and well-maintained trail. Highly recommend checking this place out.
When we got here a sign said that we would need to purchase timed entry tickets through Eventbrite. It cost $ 27.74 for two adults and two children. The sanctuary was beautiful! Crunchy leaves, fall colors, beautiful marsh with turtles, snakes, ducks and so much more.
Beautiful surrounding, but would recommend downloading the app from Mass Audubon in addition to AllTrails. Some of the routes don’t match and it’s confusing. Charles River Loop is a nice steep challenge.
Some of the published trail was closed and not in use for some time
Good but not great. Crowded at the beginning. Worth the hassle of online reservation/entrance fee and a 1.5 hr drive . . . maybe. I’ll give it another chance in the Fall or Winter.
Glacial Hill Loop is a bit off-the-beaten-path, but definitely worth it. Lots of hills and cool views. So many bugs though!
Great hike-trails were fine some snow and icy. Hiking boot no foot traction. Beautiful day not much wildlife a few birds.
beautiful and diverse trail! will definitely come back in spring to see wildlife. did see some ducks today though
Very easy trail and extremely well marked (painted dots, reflectors, or ribbons). Will go back in the spring for the wildlife but great hike for someone wanting not much elevation.
