A nice trail, certainly kid and dog friendly. I was expecting something a little more challenging but still enjoyable. Done in mid-January.

The portion I visited was the Blackstone Gorge. It is at the end of County St. in Blackstone, MA. This is a small place to hike (1 mile or so), but has great views of the Blackstone River and a kayak launch. It is a peaceful hike and the views are amazing.

Good family trail! In and out trail so it can be as long or as short as needed. Very busy at th visitors center but thinned out a lot as we got further away. Mild terrain with slight elevation climbs. Use 287 oak st uxbridge as a GPS address if u have trouble finding.

Saw a ton of fish and turtles. I saw one so small it would've fit in my palm, one so large I'd need an extra bedroom. Easy walk with a lot to see.

A group of nine of us set out on this 8 mile excursion. There were lots of beautiful views at different elavations. Some trails where more difficult than other but easily achievable by all. It is definitely a LONG hike but totally worth it!!

The Blackstone River and Canal Heritage represents a reclamation of a former industrial site. The first trail takes you along the towpath of the Blackstone Canal, through Plummer Trail, which ends on Church Street. It is especially interesting to see all of the former channels of the canal complex and how they are filling up with water again . . . come back in a few decades and we may see wetland.

The other portion is the King Phillip Trail/Lookout area. It is not connected to the first trail. Instead, it runs from the Quaker Road parking area to the Hartford Street area. I didn't like the idea of simply turning around and backtracking on the main trail to drive to the Hartford Street parking lot, so I did a road hike from the Church Street parking area to the Quaker Road area. I wouldn't recommend it to everybody, especially those with kids, due to the road conditions I found. Also, picking up the trail from Quaker Road is a little confusing.
