Great trail! There is a nice view at some point (although not very clear) and the forest is beautiful. There is a spring too. It’s very nice and well indicated. I would say easy to moderate because there is some steepness a couple of times. But yes more of a nice Sunday stroll with a little bit of cardio after a heavy brunch! Remember to check yourselves for ticks!

Really nice loop that feels much more like a nature walk than a hike. Very clear path that looks like an old logging road, and which passes through some lovely woods and over several brooks.

Great easy hike! Did the father loop following the road back. A few inches of snow made slower than usual time, but was able to maneuver fine without spikes or snow shoes. 18 degrees and sunny with no wind today.

9.29.19. Lovely, straightforward lasso-shaped hike. I went clockwise around the loop section. There is an area where some trees have been felled to manage the forest which affords a spectacular view North. I came back via the Father Loop trail (blue blazes) which rejoins the main trail. My stats: Distance: 4.6 miles Elevation Gain: 797 feet Moving Time: 1:21:35

Nice woods hike with some nice vistas. A bit overgrown right now, grass up to your knees in some spots. Bugs not too bad.

This trail was easy to walk on, clearly marked, and had some beautiful breathtaking views of the mountains. Not highly trafficked at all. Overall a great trail's not too difficult and very pretty.

The parking lot is large enough to fit four or five vehicles, which was a nice surprise. The trails are in need of some spring maintenance (lots of downed trees), but overall they are well-kept. There is one scenic viewpoint (which is beautiful), and a few water features -- otherwise, it's a hike through the woods with some short yet fairly steep climbs and descents. I was disappointed to see how many people let their dogs do their business on the trail without taking the time to clean up after them.
