This is a very nice trail that runs along a stream for a good portion. Fairly flat the entire time expect for a short steep hill that will take you to the stream. Completed in about an hour with plenty of stops to admire the view. Would definitely recommend and will be doing this trail again soon.

This park offers some serenity a few short minutes away from Columbia, MD. It is located at the confluence of the Little and Middle Patuxent Rivers off Vollmerhausen road and is close to the Patuxent Branch Trail. The Green trail offers a quiet mostly flat walk along the rivers, past a few old mill sites. The Blue trail is a little more hilly and the Red and Yellow trails are short jaunts up and down some hills close to the water and closer to Interstate 95, so you can hear some road noise there. It is spread out enough that it is rarely crowded, so you can give dogs some leash to explore. All in all, it is a hidden gem and offers a very relaxing stroll fairly close to suburbia.
