Neat trail. We went to practice wearing our packs w weight. A LOT of people at the king and queens chair, not all of whom seemed aware of trail and general outdoor etiquette (one group spitting sunflower seeds all over, others crowding or blocking travel areas, climbing all over rocks right above people sitting etc.)

Nice trails but there are supposed to be waterfalls somewhere in that park. We just never found them

Trail is well maintained, steep climb up from the parking lot but mostly moderate the rest of the time. We were there at 830am and saw nobody the whole time, finished around 1030 and only one other car there. Very busy in the summertime usually. Be safe and smart around king and queen seat, a lot of injuries/deaths happen here every year due to mistakes made on the rocks.

Steep climb to the King and Queen Seat, but otherwise a moderate to easy hike

The trail was the perfect afternoon break, with beautiful views of the river. It passes right by the King & Queens Seat, so you can easily make a stop there if you want. Nice blend of uphill and downhill.
