Great trail! A little rocky towards the beginning, but leads to amazing cliffs. It was foggy today, so our views were not fantastic, but it was still a great little hike!

Great trail. Some steep inclines for the first half up but levels out nicely and has a lovely view.

Loved it. Will do again soon! Incline was as expected based on reviews. Amazing overlook at black rock. Kids even did super but are used to trails.

Went on a Friday evening. Was very quiet. Lots of gnats near the stream. Pretty rocky. Great workout

This trail is well kept but very, very rocky and steep in some places. It’s listed as “moderate” but I assume that is for the experienced hiker! It was a challenge getting up, and even harder going down because we were so tired! My son had no problem but he’s 11 years old! Make sure you have plenty of water and snacks to rejuvenate!

This was my first hike. I consider myself in shape, work out with weights, run...but this should definitely be labeled as strenuous. It's all up hill going to the summit and very, very rocky. I met an experienced hiker who agreed that it should be labeled strenuous. I really loved the scenery and it was an amazing hike. Would totally do it again... but might not go to a party the night before

Great trail up to fantastic views on Black Rock Cliffs. Good shoes recommended for the very rocky start to the trail. Agree with other commenters that it’s worth the 20 minute walk to Annapolis Rocks.

Great trail. Did see two copperhead snakes during the hike. One on Thurston just off the side and one at Pogo campground.
