The trail improvements by Friends of Stony Run are amazing!! Dont forget: the northern and southern trails are connected around University Parkway by a small street called Linkwood Rd! Around 5 miles if you do the whole thing

Beautiful trail along the river through the city, but you don’t feel like you’re in the city at all. You can hike out at lots of different points to go explore some Baltimore neighborhoods or take snack breaks.

Shaded and well-maintained trail through neighborhoods in north Baltimore. It is interrupted in three or four places by fairly busy streets. It's well-trafficked, but not busy. I see lots of kids on the path. It's an uphill climb, but not a steep incline.

Very easy and pleasant hike! My dog and I enjoyed it and will do it again.

An urban park trail as linear city trails should be: beautiful as well as usable. It combines access to nature with access to schools, libraries, shops, etc. The trail is used heavily by school kids & parents, dog walkers, runners, a few cross-country cyclists, people going to work. It makes my visits to the Johns Hopkins Library and Baltimore's Museum of Art greener and contemplative.

A flat urban hike along Stoney Run that’ is great urban escape to nature. The section between Cold Spring Lane and Wyndhurst Ave is prettiest with large trees and tucked next to homes with big backyards. It also has had restoration work in that area according to a sign on Cold Spring Lane. I didn’t do the section far into Wyman Park because most of it is closed for restoration work.

It's an urban walk for sure. Crosses some roads which is fine I guess if you don't have to worry about a skirmish dog and kids. There were lots of dogs on the trail some on leash, most off leash. If I lived there I think it would be fine but I don't think we will be back, even if it's only a very short drive from my house.

This is a great path for a walk to clear your mind.

Good urban trail if you live within walking distance. Not worth driving to just to walk it though. It's a good bit of greenery for the city slicker.

Lovely, even magical in spots. I don't know what the guy who called it a "glorified drainage creek" was looking at. Perhaps he didn't go above Cold Spring Lane and stayed only in the section around Wyman Park.

It's a glorified drainage creek in the middle of the city. I don't know how this is considered a trail.

A short little oasis and quick escape right in your "backyard." Well maintained and runs along a babbling stream.

The park is small (only ten acres) and there's really only one main path but for being right in the middle of Baltimore it's pretty decent. You definitely can't forget you're in the city in this park as you can totally hear cars and construction and see some of the Johns Hopkins Homewood Campus buildings but if you're looking for something close for a quick walk this is alright.
