This was a great spot to take our three year old. Lots of spots to get off the path and poke around a bit. We had a great time here and the river was beautiful.

Nice hike on a warm winter day with kiddos 4 and 8. There are lots of little foot paths you can take down to explore the rivers edge, rapids. There is also and old mill building you can see from across the way and an old lock along the river.

Not really great for mountain biking, a lot of tree trunks in the way. Nice river though. Super short so we biked to another small one that’s right next to this one!

This is a great trail for shade and pretty flat making it easy for kids and older adults as well. There are some steep paths and not so steep going down to the river. Some paths we wanted to explore became heavily overgrown so my 9 year old and I turned back to avoid poison ivy. Will definitely head back in the late fall or early spring to explore more trails. We saw 4 other families 4 individuals, 2 with dogs, 3 bikers. All shaded on the trail. Off trail by the river was the only time in the sun.

My dog loved the water! Great little walk with multiple ways to get down to the water

Even though the trail is not paved, my 8 year old was able to ride her bike on it. Really pretty views of the river the whole time and steps in several places (or man made trails) that you can use to get down to some beachy areas by the water. We spent 2 hours there. People fishing caught two fish while we were there :)

This is a conveniently located, easy trail. I walk along it a few times a week. You can either stay on a wide, flat path or walk down to the river bank. There are plenty of rocks to scramble over if you choose. It is very close to houses and roads, but the sound of the river drowns out traffic.

This isn't your average spot. You can choose to make it a leisurely stroll, or you can venture off the beaten path and climb rocks, explore ruins, scope out graffiti, get lost in history, and if you're brave enough, cross the river on the rocks. There is so much to take in here. It is a local favorite of mine, and I come in every season to see what changes unfold.

Dont be afraid to go off the beaten path. The bridge is cool and all, but you need to go in the woods and check out the old cotton mill it’s graffitied up an alot of the old machinery is in the remains of the building! Its very cool and i would recommend checking it out.

Lovely views of the river, made for a nice evening stroll. Definitely more of a stroll than a hike. Wish it had been longer

Nice after work walk, the Temperature was in the mid 70’s. Nice view of the river below. So some people fishing in the river. On both sides of the river, there are several historical structures. Check out Savage Mill Mall.
