A good morning choice on a hot day. Plenty of shade apart from a stretch of Belmont. Only muddy in a few spots. Good for a mixed hike / run.

Nice weather today some of the trails were a little unclear that you had to cross the water but that was only once and it was a mini adventure

I don’t know why this trail (for hiking) is rated as Hard. The distance is closer to 6.3 - 6.5 miles than 5.8, and there isn’t much elevation change to speak of. Watch out for horse apples, and one section that was quite muddy and filled with tree fall.

T'was a crappy day. Hiked this one a couple months back. I got lost a couple of times. One too many blowdowns of trees. Very muddy. I slipped and took a couple of diggers. 2 stars just because it was a crappy day weather-wise. I may do it again when it dries up.

Varied terrain was nice. No real overlook views. Suggest not doing the side loop that is really nothing to it. BTW, total distance is about 6.5mi. Really muddy due to record rain fall. Would do again, when drier.

Muddy. Hard day. Easy to get lost. Not worth the effort. Won’t do it again.

We saw some horseback riders which was really fun for my kids. The creek was partly frozen and we had to find a place to cross it going out and then back. We did get off course walking back by 10 minutes at one point... the trail must have split and we didn’t see it! Rolling hills were beautiful and there were a couple openings to big, beautiful, open fields.

Rockburn trail is a moderate scenic forest ride with a few sand traps, lots of roots and 4-6 inch logs to jump. Morning Choice is a hard ride with berms, stream crossings, tight switchbacks and constant 6-12 inch logs. Definitely a chance to work on skills.
