Great community park in Annapolis, MD. About 6 miles of paved trails, numerous miles of offshoot unpaved trails, dog park, and great water views of South River (leads to Chesapeake Bay) and its numerous coves.

Great walk which touches water and wooded areas

This park was well maintained and spacious. It was a perfect combination of wide paved roads and well marked trails. It was also easy to keep a distance from others and people were very respectful when passing each other.

Really nice wide paved paths with a few natural surface offshoots. Fun for walking, jogging, biking, kids and doggies. There’s also some other neat things to see and do (compost demonstration area, fitness trail, ice rink, pavilions for picnics, dog park & beach...however the park is only open for exercising on the paths right now) Also the county food bank has added a drop off location here recently! (April 2020). Consider bringing non-perishable food/personal care items/household supplies to donate if you visit! (Drop off trailer is in the first small parking area on the left)

I ran the dirt trail (Red markers), but the recording stopped when I turned around. I followed the same trail back out of the park. This is what I saw on the GPS map. Maybe I am mistaken of what I saw. I saw a Woodpecker up close TWICE! First time it was about 20-25 feet (approx 8 meters) away & the second time about 8 feet away (a little more then 2 meters). Pictures are attached. This run was in honor of Vin Altebrando! Do some kind of fitness activity or act of kindness everyday.

I would recommend this to anyone who has kids. The park was nicely constructed. It offers playgrounds, trails and was very clean.

New favorite trail. Well paved, wide enough for two bikes or to pass others easily. Beautiful views of the water and a lovely park in the middle. Little bridges, artwork, and lots of fun curves and little hills through this path. So many fun things to see we lost count. Best in Maryland so far!

One of my favorite places! This is not a true hiking place but it is great nonetheless! Paved trails through the whole park make it nice for running, walking, bringing strollers and dogs. These trails start on the pavilion trail and there are entry points along the whole path. They host lots of events as well. The red, blue and yellow trails wind through the woods for some super easy hiking or mountain biking. I never get tired of this place. Sculpture gardens, exercise equipment, dog park, dog beach, pavilions, gazebos on the water, kayak/bike rentals, fountains, water overlooks and more. Quiet Waters is such a gem. It costs $6 to get in or you can buy a $30 pass for the year. You can also park across the street and walk in for free.

It costs $6 to get into the park. Nice, easy, mostly paved trails. Even though the park boarders the water, you rarely see it while hiking. There’s a section of the trail that is very close to homes.

This is a lovely trail to walk or jog. Just about completely shaded if you don’t want the sun beating down on you and a great go to when exercising without the city street’s interruptions! A few side trails off the main path, but as the rains come they get a little muddy and overgrown, but still beautiful. Buying the pass for the year is more than worth the price. Parking is ample, so find time to go!

Well maintained trail with unpaved side trails. Worth it.

I walk here about once a week. It's nice enough if you simply want to get some exercise, see some trees, or just get out of overdeveloped Annapolis, but it's a bit too groomed and paved for my taste.

I come here to practice new mountain biking tactics because it is a very easy beginner style trail. There are a few nice lookout points.

A beginners trail definitely. Quiet in the afternoon and areas of both paved and treaded trail. Saw some great wildlife getting closer to the dusk hour

Decided to walk Quiet Waters Park trail today, Columbus Day 2018. I'm extremely happy I did this trail. It has long stretches of shaded trail, and breathtaking views of the South River and Chesapeake Bay. I can't wait to bring the family back, so we can experience the trail together.
