This is a well used park for unleashed dogs, teen drinking and day campers. I have been walking this park since it opened and I live very close to it. Morning is the best time to walk before the work wakes up. Make sure you walk all of the trails not just the outer loop. This is a flat land park and very very easy to walk. Everything is very well marked, so you can't get lost.

This was a great hike for my 3 and 5 year old. The beaches were beautiful and perfect for our dog as well! There is a nice shortcut back to the parking area from the beach for those who come with littles as we did, but we will definitely be back to hike the whole perimeter without them :)
