Muddy due to a few days of rain. Some rocks on the trail. Parts of the trail are not marked well.

Loved this trail. Moderate, you walk inside the forest most of the time, in some points there is no marks but you will know the way . I went with my husband for hiking but we met a lot of bikers. We saw families with little kids in some trails like cascade trail, because this one connected with 3 other trails, and it’s dogs friendly.

bring ya GPS.

This was a very good hike — forest hiking at it’s best with elevation challenges. If you ever want to hike in 90 degree temperatures this one will serve you well. The coverage by trees and other foliage keeps you cool enough to enjoy the adventure, but does not let up on the sweatiness. I took the loop in the counterclockwise direction. There are a dozen or more mud pits going out (Nacho and Hop The Snake Trails), but once you get up to Ridge Trail the muddiness stops in exchange for rocks and roots. The mud pits start up again when you come back around the loop toward the finish (Morning Choice Trail). There were bugs throughout and the most bothersome were the spider webs and tiny gnats flying about the eyes and ears. However, bugs are so common that I don’t consider it a gripe, but its something to be aware of. No complaints, will be coming back, and its a good hike. Completed: 18-July-2019

Midweek hike, shared the trail with very few fellow hikers (more bikers than hikers.) The blazing on the trail was spotty -- great in some spots, but missing at critical junctions. Downloading the map to my phone saved me from wandering. The trail was very muddy and quite rutted out from bikes in several spots. Birdsongs were amazing -- bring your binoculars! There were several shallow creek crossings -- most had step stones. Note that trail head has limited parking (5-7 spots), no facilities and no posted maps.

Trail is nice enough but narrow in a lot of areas with lots of mountain bikes. Trail was pretty muddy is some spots and very poorly marked. We got off trail a few times and had to keep checking the map on our phone because there were none at the trailheads.

Not sure we found Nacho and Hop the Snake... but we ran Morning Choice (Yellow), Cascade Falls (Blue), and Ridge (Orange). We ended up doing Orange to yellow to Blue to Orange again. Rockburn Branch (Purple) is a loop that can be done off of orange but we weren't sure the trail marker for hop the snake or Nacho so we just did the loop around rockburn and it was about 6.5 miles.

It was a nice hike, well paved. I did get lost a few times and had to backtrack but otherwise it was fun.
