Mostly shady, paved trail. There are a couple of unpaved offshoots where you can check out the river and let your dog splash around. We added a little distance by exploring the out and back forks on either side of the pond. Not much parking at the trailhead. I did this on a weekday late morning. Didn’t see many people. A beautiful outing!

This is a nice urban trail, and it is well maintained. The bridges are very slick after it rains. Please watch your step!

Nice paved path with plenty of playgrounds for pit stops with children. Dog and bike friendly. There were a couple scenic spots of the river but it was mostly just wooded. There were a few hills. It wasn't a busy path, only passed a few people.

Booring and urban. Not our cup of tea. Oh, and the pond was gross with no seating.

A nice surprise. Scenic and a good amount of hills. Saw a few people along the trail. There is a pond full of algae that smells hideous but aside from that it’s a nice trail.

A nice walk on a paved trail. I did this on Friday in the early afternoon and it was pretty hot. I saw four other people walking and one bicyclist. Three deer, a doe with two fawns by the green algae pond. Enjoyable.

Wow - this was a big surprise. Used to live about 1/4 from the trailhead on Murray Hill and somehow never knew it was there. This is a really nice path for walking, running or biking with nice scenery and elevation changes. And it was practically empty on a sunny spring Saturday!

Parked at broadcloth and red clavet Columbia MD. So for me 5 stars means I would bring a friend back... I felt safe alone the entire time because houses and neighborhoods are close by. I was turned off at first because it’s pavement ... which doesn’t feel like hiking to me... plus at first it seemed like any bike path near my house but the plus was ... I could enjoy the scenery instead of looking down for obstacles. Lots of peaceful areas and water... and some cute wooden ‘bridges’ plus it had some hills instead of being all flat
