This is a natural surface trail that connects the Magruder Branch Trail to the Upper Seneca Creek Trail. There is no parking area at Log House Road. This trail is best used as a connecter. You'll walk through second-growth forest and may see deer and squirrels.

Nice trail that starts paved, then beers into a worn dirt, rock and root path. Easy walk up and down elevation. With birds, deer and squirrels. Very popular with locals, runners, and families

beautiful paved part though woods with board walks and bridges. My dog and grandkids love it!

Great short run with awesome scenery; you’re fully immersed in the forest once you get going. I would say it’s about 50% paved, 50% natural surface. Only stuck to the paved part since it was raining and I didn’t have the right shoes.. it was still awesome though! A tad confusing navigation wise with so many trails feeding in and out, but once u get acquainted with the signage you’re good.

I prefer walking on natural surface trails. I often hike this trail when I'm on the Magruder Branch Trail (which as paved) as a way to get a little dirt under my feet. It's pleasant, but far too short.
