Great easy hike, but can be a little muddy and slick in some spots. Although I was very disappointed in all the trash that was left behind.

Try to go early morning as the trail was pretty crowded. Other than than that pretty cool with kids and older people in tow.

Great Trail. Suitable for smaller kids too. The Dam is spectacular and makes for a great lunch spot. This trail is close to a shooting range so you will hear shots going off near the start of the trail.

LIBERTY DAM TRAIL Gorgeous trail along the water that leads to the breathtaking Liberty Dam! Lots of rocks to sit and watch the falls. - 30 minute easy walk to dam - flat terrain - muddy in certain areas - 2 tiny stream crossings - you might hear gunshots at the start of the trail. The trail is near a shooting range - not stroller friendly - 1 tiny parking lot and a decent 2nd lot right past it - trail starts from 2nd parking lot - ages? My guess is 4+ Highly recommend

Very muddy after last night's rain. very windy and chilly today too. And I almost stepped on a 3 ft copperhead snake at the dam.

Great trail! Not too difficult, perfect for a new hiker or kids. Trail is narrow and leads straight to the dam with an area to sit and have lunch on the rocks if you wanted. A short and sweet one totally worth it! Friday morning 9am with a call for rain in the afternoon, we were the only ones there. It was muddy throughout so be prepared if it’s rained!

Great little trail and the dam at the end was awesome! It was pretty packed, but it was a beautiful spring afternoon and with everyone being in the quarantine I’m sure that’s why it was so busy. There were a few muddy areas, but it had just rained 2 days prior. Our boys are 9 and 6 and this was a fun little hike for them and our dog. Took about 90 minutes and that is including about 30 minutes hanging out at the dam.

Very quiet. Only passed one other person. Nice easy trail. Only a couple of muddy spots along the way. And the dam at the end was absolutely worth it!

Easy trail following along the river :) ending with some scrambling on rocks at the end! Great view of the dam! Note: saw another post about hearing gun shots - we passed a shooting range as we drove in so thats why you hear shots- after the beginning though you cant hear them anymore and it’s peaceful!

All you hear are gunshots. I turned around as soon as I arrived each time.

Overall, this hike wasn’t bad at all. It was beautiful and shaded. It was nice getting out in nature and hearing nothing but bugs, birds, water flowing, and wind blowing. Today was gorgeous weather as well. However, I chose this hike based on reviews of others saying that it was an easy trail for 2 year olds. It should be made known that it might be an easy trail for 2 year old who is used to hiking, but not one that is going for the first time. My daughter is super free spirited and independent. There were some steep and super muddy areas. She of course didn’t want me to carry her across because she was adventuring. We managed and enjoyed our hike (more of a massive workout), but then made it to the dam and it wasn’t even releasing water. What a bummer! It was gorgeous nonetheless. Overall, a good experience.

This is a beautiful trail along the river and to the base of Liberty dam. About 100 yards from the dam is a trail that leads up to the top above and has wonderful Vista of the dam and reservoir. The trail head is at the sharp curve right where it begins to be a private road. there are several places to park along the road from the highway to the private road. check my recording for way points.

It’s a nice easy trail on a warm day. We have hiked it twice with our toddler and she has a great time. It gets a little muddy but it’s a well beaten path with rocks and logs along the muddy spots. The dam is beautiful. A fun destination to relax and cool off in or beside the water.
