Heavily wooded trail with lots of shade. Very easy to walk with young kids. No trash, clear path. The trail takes you to Veterans Memorial with cannons.

more so a point to point trail then a loop. there is a hard packed trail that leads to jacobsville park, and yes there is a low hanging power line on what used to be Johnsontown Rd (back when johnsontown rd connected magothy Beach rd to woods rd right before the hard 90* turn). ANYYYWAY. yes some broken glass, BGE dubbed the line as not theirs. i dont believe it's hot... but be careful regardless. if you venture off the trail on the sandy section between the parks, there are some old boats and house remains abandonded in the woods. you'll probably get chiggers... so wear tight long pants. also this may be private property although there are no signs. on lake shore athletic side, you can venture to the flagpole and some old cannons. back in the woods there's a off trail that looks like it was paved in the 80's maybe that leads you to the Old entrance / gate on Mt Rd just passed the flagpole (between the flatpole and loblolly lane). it's a nice walking trail. occationally dirt bikers and four wheelers will ride there... not smart.

Great little trail. Just under 1 mile. Wooded and mostly flat.

Not bad, there’s a power line down near the trail in the woods and lots of glass on the ground. Otherwise was ok. Must run through the park and parking lots.

Wouldn’t necessarily call this a trail. Starts as a trail, then turns into you walking through parking lots and on sidewalks. However, if you follow the sidewalk past the lower soccer field and go up the paved path you can find some trails through the woods. Follow a trail to the upper baseball fiends and continue walking to the far end along the gate/woods and you will find the equestrian trail. It’s nice to walk on, shaded and quiet. However I wouldn’t recommend stopping to hop on random trails after that and just heading back to your car. We hopped on a lower trail to the left of the lower baseball field and got stranded with no way back (except back tracking of course) and ended up walking back on the main road.
