Nice varied environments. Up through the forest, hilltop meadow, then back along the river. No shade in the meadow, would be very hot on a sunny summer day.

This was a beautiful hike. Great for bird watching and I loved the different landscapes from open farm fields, beautiful wooded area, and then hiking next to the susquehanna river. The only thing is you really need the app or a map to figure out where you are going, it's a bunch of different trails all linked together to make one big loop. At one point I lost cell service and had to backtrack a little bit to figure out which way to go, but all in all was a great hike.

This was a sincerely beautiful hike - beautiful views, many terrains and landscapes. My first time on this, but definitely not my last.

Pretty nice trail. Not very challenging. But the view along fisherman’s trail is wonderful. Many different plants to see in the spring time. Part of connect between fisherman’s trail and ivy trail head is on the road, kinda dangerous. Otherwise great trail.

Fun hike! Following the map on this app helps, as the trails are not always well labeled. The meadows are beautiful and you can see some great eagles, hawks, and osprey!

We started on the blue trail at the picnic area. Found what we think was a pile of bear poop. It was fresh. Please be careful. Trail is rocky with gradual incline.

A nice combo of forest, field, stream crossing and the river. All the trails in the state park are in good shape...only a few that have very minimal rocks, but not on this route (very clear). There is a moderate climb at the beginning on Ivy Branch trail, but nothing remotely steep.

We’ve walked this area a few times, but this was the first we tried to follow the trail exactly. I needed to reference the app several times to avoid wrong turns and clarify when markings couldn’t be found. It’s a nice walk but fsome of the trail along the river was completely submerged and you had to go off trail or wade in murky water. It had a nice variety from some narrow inclines to wide flat paths, all woods to river bank.

Awesome sloppy run at Susquehanna State Park! Icy, snowy, supper muddy - the best that early spring can through at ya’! Glad I had my phone with me; many twists and turns, false starts, and running back uphill to find the trail junction that I missed!

Great trail run! Just Challenging enough to help train for mountain trail run in Colorado. Beautiful views and lots of shaded trees. Trail gets dicey if you’re trying to run it while it’s raining or just after it has rained.

Great run with a mix of rolling terrain to moderate climbs. Not marked well after mile 3 but overall a good trail.

Very nice trail and perfect length for a beautiful day. The second half had a different trail name; farm road trail.

Only rated moderate for the distance, as the vertical climbs are fairly easy. Trail had lots of variety - woods, open field and river side. Suggest using alltrails app map as the trail intersections are many and it's easy to miss a turn. Please make note that distance is closer to 7.5 miles.

Clean Trail, hiked up to the conawingo dam. Great view of the river.

Can be tricky as there are multiple intersecting trails. Enjoyed it. The walk along the river with all the fall colors was spectacular
