Great trails, getting better every time. It would be helpful if they had better distance and trail markers.

Great early Fall scenery and numerous trails and loops to create. Beautiful forest and streams to cross. Easy hiking mostly. There was unfortunately a little litter and the trails could be better marked in some places. Following the trail was a challenge even with help from AllTrails. Still a great park and fun hike.

Little Bennett comes through with forest, field, and stream. We did a 5 mile loop rather than the 8.9 in the plan. Very pretty little glens. Two stream crossings required scrambling on rocks and tree roots. Adventure!

Nice accessible trail system within easy reach of the DC area. The north trails seem to be less busy than the south end. Trails are not that well marked though and it is easy to occasionally get off track. All in all, a decent hike.

Nice and easy walk over rolling landscape with only a short uphill after the Kingsley Schoolhouse. Trails are clearly marked by name and blue blazes. As typical with AllTrails, I sat at home and created my own 12 mile loop using the map editor, then used my iPhone to follow the route. Most all water crossings have well built bridges. However, Little Bennet Creek off of Hyattstown Road around Mile 11 of the loop has no bridge and no easy way across other than wading through stepping on submerged rocks. Lucky I had Gor-Tex winter gaiters on as the water level was over my hiking boots.

Lots of loop options here. Could spend all day wandering this park and hardly repeat a trail. Plenty of variety too, including meadow, woods, and streams. A few views in the winter when leaves are off the trees. Deer, woodpeckers, frogs, foxes abound. Trails open to hikers and equestrians, though some trails are closed to horses.
