This trail is beautiful, especially on the section just south of Walker Run. Be careful for slick, mossy rocks. The trail isn't marked well, but the river provides a good reference. This route involves crossing Gunpowder Falls. Depending on the time of year, and water flow, this could be difficult. If you choose not to, there a similar Hemlock Gorge Loop on AllTrails that does not cross Gunpowder Falls.

This trail might be nicer than what I saw today, which was nice but not too close to the water. I went along the southern half (partly along access road) but found that there was no passage over the river at the ā€œvā€ - either the river was quite high or the stones have been moved. Will have to go back to check out north half of the loop.
