It was fine. Muddy, but it’s rained for 8 days straight, and I had shoes that could handle it. Nothing spectacular, entrance is hard to find if you’re not looking carefully. Some points on the trail to access the river. Had some technically challenging points.

Trail is open. It's a very nice, easy walk. There's erosion at some points, and it can be quite muddy, though not on the day we hiked...the ground was frozen solid.

well, we thought that after 2 years, we'd be able to hike here, but we just showed up and there's a sign saying the trail is closed!

About 1/2 mile in the trail is blocked with construction. Looks like they're replacing underground pipes.

Two hours of walk in the fresh air very nice and quiet, nature and just we... ,well a couple of young deer can see around too.
